This is my favorite Mexican restaurant. Never crowded and service is great. But the star is the food it's delicious. The chicken taco was to die for and so was the rice and guacamole salad. The relleno had too much breading on it. But the inside was delicious. There's only one problem with this restaurant and its consistency. Sometimes the salsa is great and sometimes too spicy. The same with the refried beans, so if you don't like spicy and the beans are tinted red, don't even try them. Today even the rice was spicy. It's got to be one particular cook. Other than that they are great!

Arrived at Los Compas at noon on a Saturday, swiftly seated with chips and salsa. Our party of 6 enjoyed their meals, with my personal highlight being the flavorful and generously filled carne asada street tacos. Their cheese dip is an absolute must-try. Great service, reasonably practiced, solid food!

Ate here during a quiet period before the lunch rush, waiter was very nice and personable. Food was pretty good as well, overall a nice find in a somewhat out of the way place.
